We are seeking an Agile Technical Lead to provide hands-on leadership in cross-functional software development team.  The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a passion for agile principles and servant leadership. You will be responsible for technical direction, team mentorship, and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a collaborative environment across multiple teams.

A current Top-Secret Clearance is required to be considered.

This position is contingent on a government award.

Position Description: Agile Development Services Technical Lead - We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Agile Development Technical Lead to guide a cross-functional software development team through the full lifecycle of agile delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a passion for agile principles and servant leadership. You will be responsible for technical direction, team mentorship, and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a collaborative environment across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and direction for multiple development teams working on custom-built interfaces, ETL solutions, and open-source applications.

• Manage and coordinate activities across diverse teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and agile principles.

• Oversee and actively contribute to:

  • Automated testing and delivery pipelines

  • Back-end and front-end development

  • Cloud-native application development

  • Containerization strategies

  • DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment

  • Security engineering and secure software practices

  • Program and engagement management

  • Systems analysis, architecture, testing, and usability engineering

• Drive software development excellence by leveraging tools and frameworks such as:

  • Angular, React, Svelte

  • .NET (C#), Node.js, Python, Django

  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis

  • GraphQL, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi

  • Bootstrap, Cribl, Splunk

• Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and projects.

 Required Skills: 

• Active top-secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• 13+ years of relevant experience (a Masters degree can account for some of the required experience)
• Proficiency in languages and tools referenced above.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and inspire team growth.
• Some domestic or internal travel may be required.

Preferred Skills

• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Developer, SAFe Agilist, or similar).
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
